I just realized my visa is single-entry. I'll have to either go to the immigration office this week or (more conveniently) visit the immigration office at Incheon airport the day I leave.
Does anyone know if they'll be open on Christmas day?
Bloody single-entry nonsense. |

if you live in or around seoul you can go to the city air terminal at coex mall. they have an immigration office that will do multiple entry visas for you.
as for the office at incheon, im sure they'll be open on christmas. cannot confirm 100% though. |

| Why not get the multiple entry visa when you come back? Wouldn't that give you more time? |

Once I leave Korea with my single-entry visa, without a re-entry permit, I forfeit my visa and wouldn't be allowed back into the country.
I don't want to risk doing it at the airport. The immigration website SUCKS. I need to know which office has jurisdiction over my 'gu'. I remember when I was in Apguejong, I went to the wrong office. There are two:
Seoul Immigration Office Sejongno Branch Office
Section Korea Immigration Service
Address SK Hub Bldg. 2F, 89-4, Gyeongundong, Jongno-gu, Seoul
Jurisdiction Jongno-gu, jung-gu, Eunpyeong-gu,Dongdaemun-gu, Jungnang-gu, Dobong-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Gangbuk-gu, Nowon-gu, Seoul
And
Seoul Immigration Office
Section Korea Immigration Service
Address 319-2, Sinjeong 6 dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul
Jurisdiction Seoul (Except the Jurisdiction of Sejong Branch Office), Gwangmyeong, Seongnam, Anyang, Hanam of Gyeonggido
Thing is, for the first one (Sejongno branch), it doesn't list Seongdong-gu, but it lists many of the Gu that are near it, such as Jung-gu and Dongdaemun-gu. |

| Of course they'll be open on Christmas. People will still be leaving and entering the country, so immigration will be open... |
