All right. I live north of the Mason-Dixon. But let's be honest. Apples have their general curvature at either the middle or the top. This is a pear bottom, a woman who is shapely in the lower hemisphere of her beauty.

The whole apple idea makes no sense. I know enough about apples to know that the one in the picture in your link is mutated due to a very nasty insect bite, likely a borrowing worm. No apple is greater in its circumference at the bottom than the top. Only a very sick apple is shaped so.

Therefore I say this: This is a pretty awful concept. It is pear, not apple.

Just the same: It is one of my favorite figures to be had on a woman. There is a certain elegance to it, a certain strength. And to again agree with an above poster, the woman in the commercial has probably never eaten a pear, much less figured like one. 'Tis the unfortunate plight of most Asian women. White/European/Central-Western Asian women FTW. Just sayin'. Wink

By the way, the title is Apple 'Hip'. I don't know how many times I've had to tell my public school students here the difference between the hips and the butt. I have to point it out to them. They laugh, and then I tell them how it makes more sense to say "I'm going to kick your butt!" and not "I'm going to kick your hip(s)!"

I wonder if this thing would even catch on. Most Korean women can't fill the back of their jeans. But whatever because is a nice round backside even considered attractive? I mean, you look at all the racing models and celebrities who've had tons of work done, and they're all top-heavy but still don't have any back. The women who do have curves are considered fat.

Isn't the butt just considered a comic prop anyway? Considering all the jokes that revolve around stuff coming out and stuff coming in, and considering how all the girl groups do butt dances but totally lack butts?
