What are the names of the big franchise/chain hakwons that closes before 8pm? It seems like Topia, Avalon, CDI etc all stays open till 10pm. Or are there some positions within those hakwons that allows some teachers to finish earlier(like 8pm) and others later(10pmish)?

You could get a kindy/elementary gig and finish around 7. I know YBM ECC does this and I'm sure there are others.

Of course, you'll probably start around 9:30-10 but hey, it is what it is.

After-school positions start later and generally end earlier. I teach from 1-6pm. Rather nice hours.

Thank you runthegauntlet and lifeinkorea.
I actually prefer starting my day early. I guess I'm still use to getting up early for uni classes ^.^

A public school job would be better for you then, 8:30-4:30pm. For hagwons, you could take a morning kindy-late afternoon shift, but be ready cause they could change that at any time.

What I did was get adult classes arranged in the morning. Something like that would ensure you had morning classes.
