Have been dating this girl for a little over a month now. During that type she has asked me what kind of blood type I am, twice.

Is this how they choose their partners?

Is it similar to asking what someones star sign is?

It has something to do with personalities.. My elementary students have these little books about how to get a v face line, diet, and various successful study habits. I think it's like some sort of guide for little girls on how to act/be..

anyway, here's a pic of the page on blood types. maybe someone can translate it.

It says type As are persistent so walking or skipping is good for them
B types are curious about new things but easily lose interest
so having many, varied activities are good for them
O's suited to one-on-one
AB's are suited to yoga.

Ask what her star-sign is.

That's interesting. As I understand it, O- is the universal donor but can only receive O- (which kind of bites, because it is the second rarest), and O+ is the universal receiver but I don't believe it is useful for other blood types.

So for this strange urban legend...they got it the wrong way around. The O-types sleep around! (I'm O- and I'm definitely a one-on-one, absolute-fidelity person... Shocked )

From what I understand, if you're a guy, as long as you're not B, you're in fine shape.

As with all things Korean, blood type is hierarchicalized.
In a nut shell:
If you have type A: you are a winner. Congratulations!
If you have type B: you are a total loser. Might as well jump off the nearest bridge.
Type O: you are a weirdo and a misfit. Who do you think you are anyway . . . thinking you are somehow different or special so that you don't have to fit into the "A or B-type" scheme? Might as well jump off
the nearest bridge.

huh? this is totally wrong. it's generally accepted (at least for these blood type fanatics) that:

1. A-type - overly-cautious, shy-ish
2. B-type - extroverted, selfish, "player"
3. O-type - sensitive, selfless but could be a bore
4. AB-type - few bricks shy of a load, messed up in the head

the blood types are different for each gender, the above is for males

exercise:

Dude, I really hope you are joking.
(Could you not detect that I was doing just this?????)

You might want to look into the German Nazi and Nazi-inspired Japanese history of this blood/personality type nonsense.

Type B.
