Hey I need to get on my vacation planning.
My vaca is in the beginning of February.
I'm looking for cheap flights to either Thailand or the Philippines.

I have a couple of questions. I am aware that the flight to Thailand is more expensive than the flight to the Philippines. What happens once you arrive. Which is cheaper? Which is more fun? I have to travel alone due to my vacation not lining up with any of my friends vacations. I heard Thailand is easier to meet people to party with/ hang out with.

Which has the cheaper accommodations?

Basically, my question is two fold. Which is cheaper? or should I just buck up and go to Thailand because it's more fun/cooler/easier to meet people?
Where will i spend more money? is it worth it to spend more money there?

All the help is appreciated.
Oh yes if you have English websites to book flights with that are cheaper than I already know about. THose would be helpful too. ex// i know about expedia.com and other trivial sights.

No-one has posted a reply for you yet so I will pitch in my 20 won worth.

Discount airlines run to both locations. Expedia is NOT the best choice for price shopping.

Go direct to the airlines (like http://www.cebupacificair.com ) and price search your dates. I flew incheon -cebu return for 304k won last month. It will take some time and effort on your part but you can save up to 1/2 or more on a full priced fare (usually about 800k won for either destination).

Which is cheaper and more fun?
That depends on you.

IF you hand out in a major tourist location it will be expensive either way (~100k won per day as a good average for fun, frolic, hotel and meals).

If you back pack and get off the beaten track you can do it for 30-50k won per day in either location.

White sand and beers on the beach will cost you.
