The supermarket shelves are full of tins of tuna in many different types of oil.
Can anyone tell where I can purchase tin tuna in brine (water)?
or perhaps what it is called in Korean so I can ask some supermarket staff? |

I don't know if you are interested, but I found tuna in water, but it isn't in a can. Its with the cans, but its actually a packet and I think its excellent. I was surprised at how much I liked it. its a green package and its in english, so you should have no problem finding it.
참치 (chum chi) is tuna in korean |

| Along with the single packets of tuna in the supermarkets, Costco also has tuna with water in cans. It is a little more expensive, but for me it is worth it. |

| Let me tell you a story about canned fish (mackerel). I ate 2 pounds of canned fish a day for an entire year because of the omega 3 thing just to see if it does some good...... The mercury level in my body was so high that I almost died. My mind was going in circles and in my sleep my arms would scratch until they bleed. I would wake up 6 times a night scratching and the mercury would just fuel it worse every day. I had no idea it was the mercury until I was so messed up with about half of my entire body in scabs, unbelievably itchy all day and all night. It took 3 months of suffering and tying my arms to my bed to stop the whole thing and wait until the mercury was gone. Now do you want tuna? |
