Does anybody take yoga classes in Bundang?
Are there western style gyms there where a female can work out comfortably?

Where in Bundang are you located? There are a lot of gyms around Jeongja-dong and Seohyeon-dong (I think there's a Bally's Total Fitness here too).

There are plenty of gyms, with each being a little different. Some have more freeweights, others are more for indoor golf, others more machines.

"Hot Yoga" (핫요가 in Konglish) posters are around most areas, it seems pretty popular. Plus you can probably ask your local gym about Yoga classes, they should know.

One tip - shop around before signing on - I scoped out the four gyms in my area and the one that best suited my needs happened to be the cheapest, too. You might go as far as a 10/15 minute walk in all directions to find them, and for me it was definitely worth it.

Good advice! Thanks. Do any of the gyms offer spin classes? Next to yoga that's my favorite activity.

I'm not into spin classes so have not actively sought them out. Never seen them at a Korean gym, possibly because they require a room full of equipment, when space is at a premium in Korea.

Hmm...whereabouts are you in Bundang? If near Jeongja/Migeum/Ori, I could give you directions to my gym which is much more like a spacious Western gym than a tiny Korean one. Good prices, too.

I'm going to be coming to Bundang at the end of January, and I'd also like to find a good yoga class. How much are gym memberships?
babyblue: when will you be in Bundang? I'd love to have a yoga/fitness partner. Smile

Hey! I will be there in mid-February. A gym buddy is great for motivation. Send me a PM. Thanks.
