well got my wii updated at yongsan so i can now play new super mario and vancouver olympics (these games were bought from the guy who updated it). ive downloaded some ISOs and tried to burn 2 of them so far (warioware and boom blox). warioware reads, and it shows on the wii menu. i go to open wii (software he put on there) but it comes up saying the disc cant be read. with boom blox, it loads but crashes after about 5 mins. using DVD-R (cheapish ones though, called happy buy, got them from homeplus). so do you think it might just be that the DVDs are crappy and i need to get decent ones??? dont really fancy spending more money on blanks if thats not the problem

Sounds to me like a media problem considering Boomblox plays for awhile and then dies. There is no copy-protection on these games as far as I know.

I use "Fusion" DVD+R media and have no problems. Very cheap.

I got a USB hard drive and use a USB loader. 99% of my Wii game woes are now a thing of the past.
