nah it would still be Europe. In the same way if North America became 100% muslim...it would still be North America. |

My bad. I just performed a computer simulation - and you're right - Europe is still there. |

If you guys believe that Europe is just lines on a map. If you believe it's just a geographical entity then you might as well surrender right now to the hordes of "disaffected youth." You are headed for a "systemic failure."
Surely, Europe is more than just lines on a map. It is also a historical, scientific and cultural entity that needs to be protected and nourished. If the "isolated extremists" and "disaffected youth" have their way this last part will cease to exist and all that will be left will be those lines on the map. |

My problem is with the quotation marks. Why "systemic failure." ?
Does that have a second meaning I should know of. It is annoying. Not as annoying as the muslim scare mongering that goes on on this board, but still annoying. |

Systemic failure is a Obama quote.
He referred to the recent Somali terrorist attack as a "systemic failure." Rather than be truthful and tell it like it is, the President, who enjoys the sound of his own voice above all else, used this politically correct, meaningless phrase as his response to a Islamist attack in American airspace.
As to the scare mongering I think that the western world is becoming more aware of a legitimate threat to its way of life. |

Yes, he should have told it like it is. A criminal tried to blow up an airplane. No matter how much security we have, it's inevitable that occasionally things will slip by it. We shouldn't get too upset about this, and we shouldn't change anything because of it. That's how it is. |

Well, "Europe" is becoming a legitimate threat to the North American way of life. Again.
Remember that Faruk character??

I'm sure there are only a few hundred thousand other Faruks in England, France, Sweden etc. At some point, their little problem became our little problem over here across the pond. |

The legitimate threat to our way of life is more likely to come from our way over the top response to the perceived threat. |

A few hundred thousand in each country or total? There are 60 million people in England alone.
Oh no, the Muslims are coming!! I'm terrified. Your economy/Islam scare mongering is tiring. |

The muslim population of Britain is expanding at 10 times the rate of the kafir.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article5621482.ece
| Quote: |
The Muslim population in Britain has grown by more than 500,000 to 2.4 million in just four years, according to official research collated for The Times.
The population multiplied 10 times faster than the rest of society, the research by the Office for National Statistics reveals. In the same period the number of Christians in the country fell by more than 2 million. |
The muslims aren't coming, they're breeding. Much of Europe will be theirs. And the indigenous population won't even fight back. Native Americans gave a hell of a fight before they lost their land. The modern European man can't even summon the energy. It is pathetic.
Regarding the OP. What the hell is a Somali doing in Denmark? Did Denmark look at Somalia and say "yeah, we need some of that?". Did they say "we need a native vs muslim riots"? (they got it!) Did they think "boy, our rape stats are far too low"? I think maybe the dominant ideas in the West are about as sane a blood-letting and alchemy.

Oh the permanent damage a bad idea can do. Will Denmark have to suffer with a "Somali Community" forever? Or will the ideas change, and it become acceptable to repatriate them? Sure will be interesting to watch. Even better, I can watch from the safety of home:

How long have you been a male babysitter to the lower middle class of Korea? Isn't "economic catastrophe" an appropriate way to describe your reality? Right? Your home country economically failed you to such an extreme degree that you reckon 1500$/month is reasonable compensation for a grown man? You're from Ireland, right? Have you opened a paper there lately? Jesus H. Christ. |

I came to korea well before the downturn. I teach in a university and have roughly 5 and half months paid vacation a year. I work 13 hours a week. i work 4 days a week. I travel alot. ..going to vietnam for a month soon. I consider this a good standard of living. Especially as the figure quoted is only the base pay in korea. Anyone who has been here long enough makes a lot more than that. *
I went back to Ireland last summer for a wedding. It wasn't as good as when I left but it was no where near a catastrophe. [/i]
By the way. I know lots of grown men who make around $1500 a month. My father supported a family on the equivalent of that back when Ireland really was an economic backwater. Don't belittle people just because they don't hold up to your salary standard.
* in short..I like my job and I like living in Korea.

I doubt it will continue at this rate long enough for them to take over. |

It's easy avoiding the real world and not applying yourself, isn't it?

depends on your definition of take over: surrender-happy European nations such as Ireland already capitulate:
http://europenews.dk/en/node/28798
Irish make crosses out of feces & spray feces on bibles for "art", Sinead Oconnor tears up bibles; but we all know what political motivation prompted a 'blasphemy law'. No irish person has the cohones to make some 'poopy mohammed' "art". |
