| Selina Kyle is a frumpy personal assistant to Batman villain Christopher Walken. She has the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and her boss kindly shoves her out a window for her troubles. Fortunately, she is resuscitated by a group of stray cats in an alley. |
I never saw that movie... is this for real? |

It's based on a comic book. You do know that Superman flies and is really strong, don't you? |

I'm not a big DC fan but I'm pretty sure that isn't the origin for the real Catwoman. I want to know if that's how they really did it in the movie.
Edit: You are all useless. Wikipedia says yes! lol |

And in Marvel comics Peter Parker created his own spider web mechanism, while in the movies it came naturally as a result of the spider bite. And in Star Trek lore Vulcan was never destroyed and yet in this year's Star Trek movie Vulcan was blown up. Are you upset that the people who made the Batman movie didnt follow Cat womans origin from the comic books? |

I thought it was odd that they elected monarchs. |

No, I just think it's an exceptionally hilarious origin story and Cracked being a humor website and all, I wasn't sure how much of that they had made up. It turns out... none. |
