Movies like Twilight are faddish garbage that barely register on my radar. They come and go, people talk about them a lot for a while, then they disappear. But a bunch of people become more lame because of them.

The problem with Twilight is that vampires and werewolves running around is believable fantasy compared to the idea that an alpha male such as Edward would act that way with any woman -- alpha males just don't do that in any world.

Laughing Because alpha males are too busy trying to cover up that receding hair line with misogyny and bluster?

That doesn't even make sense...

I absolutely love this movie. Melodrama and terrible acting are two of my favorite things. I also have to say I was into it in the first movie. By the end I was invested in the story.

Also Bella is super hot and I absolutely love her attempts to convey emotion by looking down, then up with her mouth open.

I tend to have a very polarized range when it comes to tv/movies. I like stuff that is good or really bad but still endearing in some way.

It really doesn't, does it.... What I was driving at is the 'alpha male' type is usually vain and insecure, mistaking confidence for obnoxiousness. This isn't attractive, it's annoying and clearly not what the majority of women want.

What so many women seem to want makes me want to roundhouse kick them in the head. What makes Edward so appealing is: He is clearly the bestest hottest guy in the universe who is utterly and unequivocally devoted so whatsherface never has to doubt herself ever again.
So he's not a person to relate to and share stuff with, he's a super hot babysitter. Ewwww. Actually, this is just a little of the ew this relationship makes me feel. So, so much more.

I read all four books and in my expert opinion, Edward is in no way, shape or form an Alpha male. He's a brooding pillow biter.
The word 'murmur' will forever be like fingernails on a chalkboard after wading through that never ending crapfest of a saga.

Three hundred pages after "Oh, you like me too? No way, I thought you hated me!", the plot arrives late to the party, drunk, in a beat-up '53 Chevy pick-up truck. It drives away about fifty pages later and crashes into a tree, gets sent to the hospital, and is rarely heard from again throughout the course of the series.

The absolutely hilarious part is that twilight fans find his pillowbiting hawt.

"Why am I covered in feathers?" I asked, confused.
He exhaled impatiently. "I bit a pillow. Or two."

These earrings are inspired by The Twilight Saga-Breaking Dawn and the moment during Edward and Bella's Honeymoon on Isle Esme when Bella gets covered in feathers because Edward is so overcome with emotion when they consummate their love for each other that he bit a few pillows (instead of her). What a great way to show off your love of the series by wearing these earrings to commemorate this unforgettable moment in Bella and Edward's relationship!

I couldn't make this up if I tried:

Fools and their money are soon parted, good for that person for making some money. (That is, if they've even sold any of those)

Twilight is really popular here in Turkey. Sure it's kinda dumb, I guess, I've never read it. But if girls like it, who cares. I mean this is the demograhpic that new kids on the block was supposed to appeal to. At least it's better than the romance novels the old ladies read.
