I've been watching some live television lately, and haven't seen anyone talk about it. I finally just figured out how to watch the vikings live, and it's been about 19 months. Ha ha.
What are some channels / websites / programs you are using in order to watch live television?
Here are some that I've been using:
* justin.tv
* p2p4u.net
* craftytv.net
* streamick.com
* dramafancy.com
* viewmytv.net
* mlb.tv (member)
* StreamTorrent
* SopCast
* TvAnts
* TVUplayer
I cannot for the life of me find out how to watch the MLB Network live. I have tried hundreds of websites, but have nothing to show for my efforts. Please point me in the right direction if you know the way.
Anyone have sites or programs that are awesome? Tell me about it.

I just use a slingbox that is hooked up to my parents' cable back home. It'll work great until they move to the Mid-East next month |

I signed up for NHL GameCenter Live, so I do watch hockey games on live TV (ie. Fox Sports Net, Comcast Sports Net, etc.) when I get the chance. |

Just curious, would this work if I hooked it up to my own cable while away? My TV would be off all the time but the cable would still be in service.
Thanks,

Without Justin tv and channelsurfing, watching sports here would be infinitely more difficult. Thank god for both of those sites. |

Did you get a pro membership? Each time I try to watch (American) football it stops after about a minute and tells me that there are too many streams from my country and I need to sign up for a pro account. |

For NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and other live sports, this site works like a champ. Just follow their beginners instructions for best results.

The best way to watch MLB would be to pay for it...it's only $150 for the season and then you can watch as many games as you'd like at your convenience (not at 3am)...I don't watch baseball anymore, but I do pay for the NFL package and it's well worth it. You get to watch all the games in perfect quality whenever you want. It's $240 for the season, but we don't pay rent here and it's really worth it if you like to watch sports.
We also pay $5/month to use a VPN, which is great because you can log into servers in the US, UK, Canada, plus a bunch of other countries that we never use, and watch TV legally with better quality on hulu.com, BBC iPlayer, Channel 4 VoD, etc. Go to www.purevpn.com and check it out....plus with the VPN I can log into my dad's Netflix account and stream movies free and legally through them.
Sometimes it's worth a few bucks to pay for content instead of having to swap between the free sites at 2am trying to find your game. |

Good luck after the all star break. I had it last year. Before the all-star break it was perfectly fine. Every game at 1200kbps.
after the all star break I couldn't even watch a game at 300 kbps.
I exchanged emails with them for over a month. I think the tech support for this is outsourced and its run by a guy in his basement.
after 2 months they couldn't make it work, blamed one of their providers and when I said I wanted a refund since it wasn't my fault, they stopped responding to e-mails. Until they tried to auto-renew this season.
Their auto-renewal is done automatically before the season starts and the only way to opt out is to call their 1-800 number, which doesn't turn on until after the regular season starts.. |
