Hi all,

We've got a poker set for sale. Maybe two, but I think just one.

The one we're definitely selling is brand new--- only used it twice.

It's a 300 piece set, nice heavy metal case, dealer, two decks, keys to lock it.

It was bought for 70 US.

We have one guy who is low balling us in our city, so make us a reasonable offer and we wont have a problem (watch him see this and actually make us a real offer LOL).

We are in Cheongju, but either I or my boyfriend will be heading to Seoul next weekend, so we can meet up then. It's way too heavy to ship, I think.

PM or post offers. If you want pics I'll see if my boyfriend can post them (wont seem to do it on my laptop, keep getting error messages), or I can email a couple. But seriously, it's a poker set, I'm not sure a visual is required.

PS: We're leaving in February and have a bunch of other stuff we'd like to hang on to until we leave, but if you're in Cheongju and want a list send me a PM.--- Seoul is another option for a few times we'll be selling, but that would require a higher price for delivery/transport.

Why do people on this forum always list items as "brand new" when it has been in fact used? Don't take this personally kimchi girl, you are just the hundredth person I've seen advertise their previously used item in this manner. I mean, I love Cheongju as well as poker. I used to have a poker set in Cheongju; however, it is now in Seoul in a box. I will buy your set if nobody on here does. I can always use another Wink But I'm sure it will sell on here quickly.

I said brand new, because it essentially is. I think we needed more white chips and so broke the seal and took some. There probably isn't even a scratch on any of the chips.

plus, you know, you say brand new and it means you want a higher price Wink

I don't see it, but I will ask my boyfriend if he knows. It may have been on the sticker that we tore off, but I don't think so.

okay, thanks.

I have a set, so I will let others have first shot, but if other people fall through, I would like to get a second set, we get some big games going. Let me know if in a decent amount of time you get no buyer.

I'll keep everyone posted. Between PMs and posts there are a lot of interested people. So whoever commits can have it.

Update:

1. Can't seem to find the weight anywhere. Sorry. It's been on three different moves in Korea, but we've really only ever opened it 3 times prior to trying to sell it, so we're not sure where it would be. It must have been on the sticker that was removed. It was bought at a gambling/gaming specialty store in Manila. We paid in American rather than pesos, and it was 68 or 70 bucks (my BF and I disagree how much, but it's two bucks, so no real difference).

2. 3 different actual offers, but no one has responded back, probably because it;s sunday. I want to sell it before I go on vacation, which means this week or weekend. So whoever actually COMMITS to buying it can have it, even if it's for 5000 won less than someone else is offering--- what this means is that offers of "I might take it for 40,000" don't count, but offers of "I will take it for 35,000" do count. Will vs might = saving you money. Same goes for the 3 offers of "i will take it if no one else does". We don't expect to get 70,000 won, so just make a real offer.

A bump and an update

high offer of 45, but that person hasn't confirmed where they are located.

Bidding closes at 6 pm Thursday so I can confirm with another potential buyer were to meet on Friday/Saturday.
