| another quick question regarding consoles. How easy is it to take a console bought in korea with you back to the states? If you just took it as luggage, did you get back in one piece? |
When I brought my PS3 from the states to Korea, I brought it as a carry-on. There's no way I'd let TSA play/kick my PS3 around. |

I took my backpack (laptop, psp, ipod, etc) and a duffel bag that had sum clothes and my ps3 wrapped in some shirts. I put that in the overhead compartment. |

I'm gonna resurrect this thread. To answer the above posters question: I brought a PS3 from USA to Korea with absolutely no problem. What I did is put it in a backpack I have and carried it on. The backpack was a normal sized Swiss Army backpack and it fit my ps3, all of my chords and controllers, a cd wallet full of my games and dvds, and some other stuff. If you carry it on, there should be no problem, though it is heavy to carry on your back all day but I lived.
You could check it in your luggage but a.) I never check anything too valuable, only clothes and toiletries. b.) PS3s weigh a lot and will up the weight of your checked backs quite a bit. I suggest carry on in a large enough backpack. I have the fat ps3 too. The slim is much smaller and lighter and easier to carry in a backpack.
I have a question: has anyone here in Korea seen if Darksiders is out here? And if so, is it in English? Thanks. |
