Hi there, I'm actually in Bundang but am not expecting there to be any here in Bundang, having been here nearly a year and done a fairly good search. Anyone know whether it's anywhere in Seoul? Cheers - an Englishman craving some Marmite |

Check out Tony's Aussie Shop in Itaewon (close to Nakseopyong Station.
I'm pretty sure that they carry it.
NB. They're closed on Tuesdays. |

Go over the footbridge that crosses the highway, hang a right and walk about 150 meters. |

http://tonysitaewon.com/about.html
but
Q: Do you sell Vegemite or Marmite?
No, we don't currently sell jars of Vegemite or Marmite. (You can't buy it in Korea.) However, we do have Vegemite (Marmite) Toast, Sandwiches, Jaffles on the menu if you're craving the taste, or want to show your students, etc. If you need your own jar we suggest you get someone from home to mail you some.
I get friends or family to send me a jar once or twice a year |

DOH! Cheers mate....I guess that's what I'll have to do too. Thanks...still looks like a good place to go regardless since they have good fish 'n' chips.

I had a friend visit me a month or so ago on their way to and from Australia. I have a very slightly used tube of vegemite in my fridge and another unopened one in my pantry that I was given. Not really my thing, so I'm happy to make someone else happy and give them away. Free, just pay it forward; make someone happy. I live near Ssangmun station. PM me if you want them.
Edit: And... spoken for.

I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I wish this country had a good Mexican or New Mexican restaurant. The few that i have seen are pathetically bad. Actually not Mexican food at all. Mexican food primarily uses Pinto Beans as a filler, they taste good too, sometimes potatoes, not Rice. Also New Mexican food uses Green Chilis, Mexican food Jalapenos, nothing like that here.
I ate at Tacos and Enchiladas once. The meal was pricey and pathetically bad, not even close to Mexican food. The other restaurant I ate at off of Itaewon St. was not particularly good.
I am serious, if they had a Taco Bell here in Korea that served the same stuff Taco Bells do in Albuquerque, they would have something that could be called Mexican. Taco Bells in New Mexico serve real Mexican food, although very cheap stuff.
Before you go to any of the Mexican restaurants here in Korea, which are usually pricey, just go to McDonald's instead. The food is better there. |
