There's an article on Kotaku saying that it will be released on January 29th, 2010 in Korea. It will be a Korean version of the game and system.

WTF? Is that a rumor or is it confirmed?

We are getting the release early March international, how is there a translated Korean version coming out before that >.>

The bundle will be sold for the Korean market in January. It's confirmed according to Kotaku, and their link source. It's probably the Japanese version of the game, with korean subs and that's pretty much it. Or it just might be the full Japanese version of the game, with a Korean Instruction booklet

There are videos on youtube with Korean dubbing during FF13 gameplay. After seeing that, I thought the game would be entirely dubbed in Korean

Like I said, some guy offered it to me the other day. And the FFXIII game is everywhere in Yongsan already.

So if you really want it now, I think you can find it.

Did someone offer the system bundle to you or the game? I didn't know Yongsan had the game. I guess I'll be making a trip out there this weekend!

Think this will be sold out in February/Marchish? That's when I'm heading to Korea.

He offered the bundle. I was looking to buy a system, and he asked if I wanted the Final Fantasy bundle. I said no, because the game is in Japanese.

A few places probably have the Japanese version (of the system). Just about everywhere has the Japanese version of the game. The English one isn't out until March.

I think the article is about a Korean version of the system/game (though the game may still just be the Japanese version).

Did you talk to the guy through Dave's? I would really like to buy the system even if it was the Japanese system. Is there anyway I can get in contact with him?

Sorry, it was a random vendor in videogame alley. About 1/3 of the way through, on the right (if you're coming in from the street).

Best I can do.

If I go to Yongsan this weekend, do you think I could find the Lightning Edition FF13 ps3 somewhere? I'm really interested in getting it really soon

Playasia has just received a few shipments of the PS3 bundle (Japanese) earlier today. I just ordered one and hopefully get it sometime next week. Do I have to get another converter to play the Japanese PS3 in Korea? I have a US to Korea transformer box thing I picked up at LotteMart. I heard that using Japanese products in the US is fine because the plugs are similar, and Japan has lower power than the US. Could I plug my Japanese PS3 into the US to Korea converter box, and will it work?

It might be. I went to Yongsan this past weekend and couldn't find any of the Japanese bundles. I did see some copies of the game though. It's supposed to come out later this month. I couldn't wait, so I ordered off Playasia (their last shipment supposedly).
