Soju sucks. I like to drink THIS Korean alcoholic beverage:

Bokbunja's nice once in a while, but it's too sweet for me to drink more than an oversized shot glass or two.

My favorite Korean traditional booze is Sansachoon, hawthorn berry wine. You can get it at any convenient store for about W3500 for 375ml, it's about 15% alcohol, it has a nice distinctive flavor, it isn't sickeningly sweet like a lot of Korean wines, and it doesn't have any goddamn ginseng.

Here's the new bottle design:

It sounds like you're no stranger to the punk rock scene at Skunk Hell.

Did Skunk Hell open up again or were you just referring to the scene 4 years ago?

Anyways, I like to mix soju + bokbunja or soju + cider + makguli

yakju, people, yakju

tastes just like sake (but of course is "COMPLETELY DIFFERENT")

750 ml under 4000 won in GS mart

(but I second Magkolli and Dongdongju ... also fruit-flavored soju is quite nice)
