I want my coat back.
It's a longish black army coat with a patch on either shoulder, one of which is a silver and black circle. It had a gray scarf and black leather gloves in the pockets. It was a gift to me from my girlfriend, who is as unhappy as I am at it's disappearance. Exactly how you came to the conclusion that my coat was yours doesn't interest me. I just want my coat back. It was more than - 12C last night and you took MY coat on New Years Eve. Bad karma.
Please contact me if you have it or know who does. I won't bite your head off. I just want my coat back.

Been there (except for the online posting about it part).
Learn to let go. Be free of the coat (since you already are).
Convince your girlfriend that you didn't actually own the coat, but that the coat owned you.
Move to Brazil. |

Someone once took my coat from a bar in Itaewon, apparently confusing it with their own. When they realised they came back and simply launched it across the bar. I had actually nipped out for cigarettes at the time and when I came back I had to search for it amongst the empty barrels. When I did find it my keys were missing and I had to spend 50 bones on a new lock.
Bloody sea words, still it serves me right for going to Itaewon I suppose.
Hope you get it back OP, I can't imagine being out last night with no coat, scarf or gloves. |

Exactly.
I recommend the OP goes back when Mike's is opening up. Maybe they found it under a chair or something. |

Someone took my leather motorcycle jacket at the King Club in Itaewon back on New Year's Eve-2002. It had a scarf and gloves in it that were given to me by one of my ex-gf as a Christmas gift. If I didn't think about it, the mofo would've walked away with my wallet as I only thought about taking it with me a few moments before I went up to dance. When I sat back down, it was gone.
What did I learn from that experience- use the cloakroom whenever I go to a club if one is available or just wear my coat.
Another thing for the OP- what makes you think the person who took it is looking on this site?
I have to admit, alot of people know of this site, but not every foreigner reads it.
What gets me is when people write posts hoping the person they are looking for will read it... |

I think it would be funny to watch some teacher wearing his coat as he hits the dance floor, the bigger the funnier |
