I'm curious, once a recruiter places a teacher in a school do they have any liabilities if the teacher leaves the contract early?
You hear about teachers not fulfilling their contracts and I was wondering if recruiters have to pay some type of fee to the school?

Thanks and I hope everyone is not too bothered by the snow!

Depends. I've heard from two recruiters that if the teacher leaves within the first three months then the recruiter is expected to pay back the fee or find another teacher for free.

Depends on the recruiter's contract with the employer.
Most private school contracts say a replacement teacher is needed within 3 - 6 months or a refund of the recruiting fee. We are 6 months with private schools.
Public schools are 6-8 months...68 months???? No....6 TO 8 months.
Sorry...I love that movie and could not resist.
A recruiter will need to refund or replace if a public school teacher runs or leaves or is fired before ( usually ) 8 months completion.
