This is a Sony e-reader from america. The parents sent it to me from there. It is actually pretty cool. After downloading the software, which works alot like i-tunes you can download loads of books. Cheapest versions of popular classics run you a whopping 99 cents. I'm just a traditionalist otherwise i would use this daily. This was a Christmas present and I've only glanced at the preloaded books so it's new. 200 dollars or Korean price match.

Thanks.

That's an awesome device. I have the same one and use it every day. It doesn't have lots of features like the Kindle or its big brother, the PRS-600, but if you just want to read books it'll do the trick! They cost $200 new, so I think the OP is asking a fair price. Unfortunately, Sony eReaders aren't available to buy in Korea. |

hi
sony readers are available on gmarket. for around 299,000 WON, check it out. i am new to ebooks. but i have 100s of ebooks , basically technical. mostly in PDF format.
is it easy to use this kind of ebook reader to read technical books in pdf format. i downloaded these books from internet, not from any commercial site like amazon or google. just random forum posts.
can someone share their experience on reading tech ebooks on such portable devices. or are netbooks/notebooks better.
thanks

I think the benefit of e-ink is for people who are reading for long periods of time. I have a kindle and read books/short stories on it - they're great for travelling, but would never want to use it for reference. |
