Hey guys, i dont know anything about these really...but my missus is wanting to but a laptop just for websurfing and watching videos etc....

Does anyone know a good cheap one??? (her budget is around 300,000 but i think thats too cheap haha)

It's old but good. I recommend getting them to upgrade to 2GB RAM. You probably won't get much for that price right now, though. If you wait a month or two all the nVidia graphics models will start coming out and the current netbooks should plummet in price. Other than that, you can't really get much at that price.

I bought my Acer Aspire One exactly a year ago and it was about 279cad so it would be about the same here. Less than 300,000 for sure.

I have the Acer as well and I love it. It is perfect for a simple work machine (office, web, watching videos) but it does NOT do a great job with games any better than Plants vs. Zombies or HD video.

As a 2nd portable computer, it's wonderful.
