Anything with pirates is funny.
What are pirates going to do with 2,300 Korean cars?

I think they will give 'em back, unless they wanna be laughing stock of the pirate world.
Talk about lacking taste. Who steals a Korean car? What were they thinking? Laughing

It could be a great way to gain market share in Africa. Considering that 90% of the cars there are Japanese.

The pirates are going to sell them. They don't have to worry about getting wholesale price so a few thousand to some local villager is good enough.

The pirates should start to learn how to make some headlines. Why don't they watch some movies... For example they could start to drop a Korean car in the sea every hour until they have gotten the money. Smile

How funny would that be to see the pirate ship flying the Skull and Crossbones as it approached the Korean freighter? Smile

About two years ago there was a story about a similar boat carrying a similar number of secondhand Korean cars that sunk.

There is a god.....

hey , still a decent score.. 2.300 cars valued at about10K each thats about 23 million dollars..

if they sell them real cheap to their mates for 5K a car.. they are still making 10 million+ dollars!! and not to mention they got a ship to sell back to the shipping company.. or even better sell the cars back with the ship to the koreans for 10 million dollars.. not a bad days work...
