If I come to Korea with money, cash, then once I get an ARC, I can simply deposit this money in my account, right? I don't have to prove where I got this money from?
I mean, it would be within a month of arriving to Korea, they wouldn't think that it was from private classes, or anything, would they? |

No worry as long as it is less than US$10,000 (assuming you mean as cash).
If it is more than $10,000 then there are other issues to deal with.

You shouldn't need to wait for your ARC, I got a bank account with just my passport (I think maybe I had to bring in my ARC once it came). You should be able to deposit the money in your own bank account as soon as you get it (which could be your first business day in the country). |
