I was wondering if anyone had a problem with the Nintendo DSi here in Korea. I recently bought one from the states and I am having trouble charging it. I have a universal power adapter but it doesnt seem to work with the DSi. I am thinking of trying a Korean AC adapter but wanted to know if it would work before I buy one,. Any help would be great.

The units themselves are universal, I got a charger at lotte mart and it works fine.

A great alternative is to get a usb charger so that you can charge it anywhere easily.

Probably cost you 10-15k at Yongsan for a Korean adapter... Brought my Canadian old style DS with me and it works fine with a K power cord

I have no trouble charging my DSi. I just plug it into my Power Down Transformer (which I also use for my Wii) and in an hour or two it's fully charged. I bought the Transformer at Technomart for 20,000 won.

The charging cord are different for the DS Lite and the DSi so don't bother buying a Korean cord.

Sorry, last link was for the DS, this is the DSi cable.

$1.68 shipped and will charge anywhere you have a usb port open.
