Your way ahead of me. I've seen ... only Avatar!
The sad thing is there are only a couple of those 50 that interest me.
I do want to see Crazy Heart though, and I'll probably see Sherlock Holmes this week. |

2009 was a wierd year.
inglorious basterds was utter toss. someone really needs to sit down with tarantino when he's trying to write and punch him in the face every half hour. Might stop him from writing half hour excursions to england so he could make a few cheap tea and crumpet jokes. Most of that film could have been cut out without changing the film at all.
paranormal activity was also terrible. I've never been more bored by a horror film
On the other hand;
Up
In the Loop
Zombieland
the white ribbon
thirst
were all pretty good - not great but ... best of a bad bunch |

Drag me to hell
The White Ribbon
Moon
Sherlock Holmes
The road
District 9
The Hurt Locker
박쥐
Star Trek
Inglourious Basterds
Up
Vincere
In the Loop
Synecdoche, New York
Watchmen
These were all good, some better than others. I've probably forgot some and there are others i've yet to see. How anyone can say this was a bad year for movies is beyond me. Every year has good and bad, you just have to know where to look. |

| I agree. Paranormal Activity was unbelievably stupid. Watched it yesterday. Waste of time. |

| Watched the documentary "Food, Inc." the other night. Was OK. Turns out corn is pretty damn significant. Saw George Clooney too in "Up in the Air" and not bad. I'll still go with "World's Greatest Dad" as the best I've seen as far as I can recall since I laughed aloud a few times. Would like to see "Coraline" and will check out "Bad Lieutenant" yet. (all these films are on the link I posted) |
