Hunter-gatherer amazonian tribesmen depend for their survival on the few creatures they hunt, sustainably in the forest...having no impact on the populations of animals they hunt.
Big diff.
The Japanese don't need to hunt whales to survive.
In any case, cultures change, they are not static. Do you still respect the rights of cannibals to kill and eat people? Is it just "culture"? |
