Are there any places around Seoul where people can go to get an ultrasound besides a hospital? I'm asking for a friend; she and her husband got back the results of their ultrasound but it didn't include the gender and this is all her doctor told her, to go to a "civilian" place that they would probably have to pay for, to find out the gender.
Yes, I know how this might sound, and I know how Korean doctors can't tell you until the baby is a certain age or whatever. I just want to know if any of these places exist, where they can go and get one. Preferably around the south part of Seoul; they live in Pyongtaek. |

soon chun hyung hospital in hannam-dong would tell you. they have a lot of foreigners as their patients and i'm sure they would tell them. at least, i'm hoping so, because we find out our baby's gender in just a couple of weeks...
we never had any problems finding out the gender of our son, but we were in a woman's hospital in daegu. |

Had some friends who went to a hospital, and the doctors told them the gender because they were foreigners. No idea if that's a standard practice or an exception though... |

They told us.
They'll say something indirectly, like, "It takes after the mother."
Where do you live? My wife goes to a special hospital just for mothers/babies. |
