The newest episode comes out Sunday Jan. 10. Hope it shows up on Vuze soon, folks were great about getting the new Dexter episodes uploaded on time. Now I got something to watch after Dexter, Curb and Project Runway all finished their seasons. Anyone else waiting for Big Love? I say it's time for polygamy.

If you remember how Season 3 ended, Nikki has a 14-yo daughter, Roman was being suffocated by Joey, Joey still wants revenge for Cathy's death, Lois and Frank are still trying to kill each other, Margene is selling Indian jewelry on QVC, Sarah popped the question to Scott, Bill has started his own church and Barb got the casino operation off to a good start despite the obvious misgivings of the tribe.

But the real hook this season is what happened to Roman... and how did Bill end up with his hat? (I'd say there's some symbolism going on there?)

I forgot so much from Season 3 but now I'm starting to remember again. What I remember most is the whole drama where Nikki has to go stay with her family because Bill is so angry about her secretly working to help her father and her sort of romance with the co-worker. And Barb said she thinks Nikki is a sociopath. I guess they'll feel sorry for her now that they know about her daughter but I don't remember if much about that was revealed. Will be interesting to see what happens, I downloaded the first episode but haven't had time to watch it yet.

You won't be disappointed Nova. Roman has been missing for six weeks, the FBI raids Juniper Creek looking for him, and Adaleen yells at them that she doesn't know where he is. He could be in Mexico, he could be ANYWHERE.

Meanwhile Alby has a mysterious assignation 'in the park' with an out-of-town stranger who isn't a stranger by the end of the show. While Laura is at home 'working the books' (setting up Nikki?). Funny, Alby doesn't have any scarring from the bomb they built to blow up Adaleen and Roman, that blew up him instead.

This new BL season is getting me thru with my soaps fix till Mad Men comes back with their Season 4 on AMC. Trivia: The same actress that plays Laura Grant (Alby's #1wife) plays Francine (Don and Betty's neighbor) on Mad Men.

The main thing everyone was pissed at Nikki for was for being on birth control for the past two years. It's her turn to have a baby!

I found this article on Harry Dean Stanton and I guess from the date of it, he really was dead at the end of Season 3 (I didn't want to give that away until I knew for sure, he may have been resuscitated?). The article says they want to move on with story development, yata yata. Well he is 82.

http://articles.latimes.com/2009/mar/31/entertainment/et-harry-dean-stanton31

It's not hard to imagine the show without Papa--there will be much turmoil, they already mentioned razing the compound. I wonder if he'll make a few guest appearances, back from the dead? As in, bringing revelations to the new Prophet? Or just plain haunting, say Joey, Adaleen, Nikki, Bill, Alby? Maybe a few false prophesies by someone trying to claim power? The Greens?

Does anyone know the episode mentioned in the article where he sings to Nikki on her birthday? I'd like to find that one and see it again.

Bill has got something up his sleeve, re: End of the first episode of the fourth season. He always does.

While they were trying to get Kim Lee back from the Greens, Roman told Bill that the letters they were all after were fakes made up by Alby, and that they'd been selling them to the church for years. That'll kill Alby's hopes for succession to Prophet, if Bill has anything to say about it. Lord knows what Nurse Laura will want to do about that.

A show about a polygamous "family". Pathetic. Another sign of a decadent society that will fall.

Re: Olivencia - There has always got to be a killjoy.

As for Alby- He is a slimy git that one. Can't wait till his little truck stop indiscretions become common knowledge.

Oh- And did you see in the first episode of the fourth that the fellow who is the head of the trustees of the compound is one of his anonymous hook-ups? This is going to be brilliant.

How are you all watching it here in Korea? Does it air on television, or are you watching it online? If so, what channel/site?

Love Big Love!

A killjoy? Enjoy your pleasures. Live it up...for it will soon end (Hebrews 11:25).

This is what I was alluding to in a previous post: "Meanwhile Alby has a mysterious assignation {i.e. hook-up} 'in the park' with an out-of-town stranger who isn't a stranger by the end of the show." I didn't realize it was a truck stop. Thanks for clearing that up.

Olivencia, this is what is called the Entertainment Industry. I like it for the historical context. Especially after the recent Warren Jeffs case and the goings on on the Utah/Arizona border a few years ago.

I know it is called the entertainment industry and part of what is being done is the desensitisation towards polygamy. They did (and still do) the same thing with the Sodomites so polygamy is next. Not sure what is going to follow once the polygamists start demanding the "right to be married". Perhaps bestiality or pedophelia will be next (?). I quoted Hebrews because it is part of the New Covenant.

Well Olivencia, while this is a fascinating subject, it is becoming religion focused and a violation of the TOS. Which is why I edited my previous post and will attempt to stay on topic--the show--henceforth.

I just got around to watching the first episode and wow, it was great. It was hilarious how Alby's wife broke out the beer when they found out Roman was dead. And I love Bill's mother, she's always got some money making scheme and then she's hiding out with a bunch of parrots.

I use Vuze, a program for downloading torrents, so that's how I watch Big Love. I'm not sure if there's a site that has it on streaming or not.

About the supposed immorality of the show, if you watch the show, you see how the main family really cares about each other and it's not about sex. They're committed to making a family work and the wives are close to each other. You may not agree with their lifestyle but that's not the point. There really are polygamists in America and there's nothing wrong with exploring that concept in a TV show. It also shows the bad side of polygamy so I don't think it's trying to get people to accept it.
