Anyone know if there's anywhere in Seoul that offers intermediate to advanced Hebrew classes? I'm not yet in the country but trying to get a position sometime in March.
Other than that are there are any schools in Seoul that offer undergrad or graduate courses in English? |

I'm not sure about formal Hebrew classes but there are some Jewish and Israeli people here. There's a Chabad House and an Israeli Culture Center. Korean Air now has a direct flight to Tel Aviv ^^
You can order Israeli food now too directly from Israel.
There are many universities here that offer undergradute and graduate degrees in English. I'm not sure if you could just take an individual course but don't see why not... |

Chabad in Itawon probably would be more than willing to guide you in that direction. You can try Rabbi Shulman on the Youngsan military base. |

| thank you, that's definitely a start. I am actually planning on immigrating to Israel after a year or so in Seoul, so I figured it might be worth my while to pursue more advanced hebrew courses if they are available there. It's good to here there's any kind of community at all, cause I really wasn't sure that there was. |

to be honest I'm not yet sure what I'm going to do there, I just love being there. I've been there many times, and I always feel like I want to spend more time there. I don't really care so much what I do, I'd like to live there for an extended period and just kind of find my way. |

I've had a few friends spent some time on a kibbutz. Say it was a great time. They met ALOT of girls. Partied. Picked fruit , worked the pastoral lifestyle. Sounded really nice. I always wanted to do that. Some of the bigger kibbutz have their own schools. And I would venture to guess that they have Hebrew classes for there volunteers.
Occupied Palestine is such a lovely place. It really is a shame they can't learn to share. Neither side probably ever will. |

| Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul might offer courses in Hebrew. I'm not sure but they do have lots of different languages available, and Hebrew might be one of them. |

One of the 'kuk' schools (Hankook, Konkuk or Dongkuk) have a Hebrew studies progam. As far as I know, it is the only program of its kind in Korea, and the visiting Israeli professor mentioned last year that the program will be discontinued due to lack of interest.
Try the Chabad house. They have a website: www.jewishkorea.com.
They are probably the best source of info on Jewish/Israel affairs, next to the rabbi on Base.

Yeah, my friend saw some textbooks about missiles and bulldozers. |
