Anybody know of a good French restaurant in Itaewon? I remember seeing one, but can't remember where it was. Any directions would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

Cigale Montmartre is a Belgian-French restuarant famous for their extensive mussels menu, like 20 different ways! I ate their before, really good but expensive.
The other place I know in Itaewon is called Le Saint-Ex. |

Well, for lunch le Cigale Montmartre has a special set menu for about 20,000. For dinner the mussel dishes alone are maybe around 15 or 20~30 or so thousand won. Sorry I can't remember the prices exactly..
It's on the main street in Itaewon. Exit number..I'm not sure but if you're facing the Hamilton Hotel, go right on the same side. I think it's just like 2-3 blocks away on the bottom next to Kraze Burger and under La Tavola.
There is an outdoor patio and you can see the menu on the street too...in case you want to check prices before you dine. They have other things on the menu besides mussels...steak, chicken, fish, etc.
Le Saint-Ex is in the alley behind the Hamilton Hotel. They also have a set lunch and brunch menu. Their menu changes twice a week. They also have a kind of gift shop where you can take home things like homemade soups, chocolates, cheeses, etc. Ok, so if you're facing the Hamilton Hotel, go behind it to the alley that runs parallel to it, turn right and walk all the way down to the end. It's on the left. Their website is www.lesaintex.com |

There's also Ecume, a relative newcomer to Itaewon, right around the corner from Le Saint Ex.
I also believe Cafe Mignon above Pattaya serves French food. |
