Hey everyone, CDL made me an offer for their branch in Pohang. I leave in five weeks! Thanks for your help, both you guys and over at the forums proper.
Anyone in the area currently? I tend to get lonely easily and then I get drunk, and then I climb lightposts and shout Chaucer at the top of my lungs. |

Don't drive a car in Pohang. I heard the acid rain and factory dust will eat the paint off. |

It's only 24 hours a week, that hardly strikes me as full time.
Aside from that, no. I've worked summer camps before, which aren't so much full time as they are "all of your time". |

Pohang is a BLAST on the highest order. Make sure you make friends in the city fast, so you have a place to crash, and carry an extra change of clothes in your man-bag. It's not skeevy like Mokpo, but you can still party all around the clock. It's a real treat to visit. Good luck! |

24 hours of teaching a week. Remember that there will be plenty of other things to keep you there at least 30-35 hours a week. Perhaps more depending on how they schedule you. I don't mind Pohang though. Good luck! |

Is the air quality that bad? Should I invest in a respirator? |
