Korea has a similar problem.

Neither countries are doing anything effective to stop it.

Gender imbalance is really the least of the nongmin's problems. As for the urban Chinese, they won't be significantly affected by this.

After welfare people, the military, and bankers finish destroying the American economy, Chinese cities will be able to import American mail order brides by the boatload.

Yeah, I just don't see China going to war. Its too much against their inclinations. But a Wonder? Possible.
