Is anyone familiar with this particular staffing agency [www.eslrg.com)? I would like to know more about it because I was contacted by them and want to make sure that this is not a scam. In addition, can someone give me a few recommendations on some decent programs for teaching in Korea (IE BERLITZ, ETC.).

Any information provided would be very helpful.

They don't ring a bell, and the large hogwon chains such as Avalon, YBM, Wonderland and what have you need to be checked out on a branch-by-branch basis because some of them are alright places in which to work while the others are pure hell!

I'd have to type the same for the E.P.I.K. Program because it appears that it's hit or miss with this org as well.

Scoop a contract offer. Next, ask the good people of Dave's and the Koreabridge Forums (www.pusanweb.com is one way to get over there; go to "the old forums") if they have the inside scoop(s) on the school(s) in question. After that, keep your fingers crossed that you don't end up in a crappy situation or, you know, one that'd drive you up the wall after only 'X' number of months in this nation.

I appreciate the advice and we'll see how things work out once I get presented a contract!

They are awesome. They helped me and a lot of my friends out find jobs and helped me a lot with getting settled. The head guy is extremely knowledgeable and his business partner is really nice as well. They have both been extremely helpful. I'm recommending them to all of my friends.

I've dealt with a lot of recruiters and they were the only ones that spoke/wrote good English and were completely honest with me the entire time. I can't praise or recommend them enough. If you have any more questions shoot me a PM.

djz,

Terribly sorry but I haven't posted enough to be able to pm. I'll work on it though, lol. It just seemed sort of scam(ish) because they contacted so quickly right after I sent in my resume. Where in particular did you stay when you went over there? Can you give me any more recommendations if I decide to go?

Thank you for your time and advice!
