I've also heard the "more evolved" comment. It just betrays a misunderstanding of evolution. The hairiest monkey is no more or less evolved than a housefly, or a walrus, or even a Korean.

Two of the most recent but significant adaptions were the evolution of white skin for Paleolithic people living in Northern Europe, and the ability to digest lactose in most of those same people as well as a few other regions throughout the world. Recent does not mean "more" evolved though. Those same white skinned people get their skin burnt in other climates.

So, every so often I stretch and my sweater or whatever lifts up and the kids look away in mock horror at my 'garden path'.

I know, I didn't want poofy dark hair on my body when I was growing up either, but I tell them 'Hey, girls love that hair!'

I am not a hairy guy at all, in fact, my dark hairs are only on my legs and go up to my navel, after that, nada. I don't even have hairs on my chest.
Seriously...

Any other stories?

Dude tuck in your shirt at work.
