Any advice on this? I'm having $9,800 USD sent from the U.S. to my Korean bank account. My relative is sending it. It's money to help me with jeonse on a new apartment I'm moving into. I think the extra paper/security on the U.S. end isn't needed needed because this transfer is under 10,000 USD.
I'm going to my Korean bank tomorrow. I suppose I'll need to tell my relative Nonhyup's SWIFT code and, of course, my full name and bank account number. Any other information I should get my Korean bank to smooth out the transfer process? |

None of this is on your end. Its your relative that is sending it that has to provide all the information. The money will just show up in your account after they send it. The best way is that if you have a US account, have them deposit the money in there and then withdraw it using the ATM |
