Dear guys,

I have a plan to go there this Sunday, gathering with many of my friends, around 40-50 persons. Do you think Pizza Hut in Yongsan is good option? I mean ambience of restaurant itself, is that comfortable for 40-50 persons? Need your advice guys. Or, do you think there's another restaurant that can afford 40-50 persons around Yongsan? Thanks in advance. Very Happy

What's the occasion? I think the choice of venue could depend on what you are celebrating.

I have been there several times. It's a nice place. The views are great out of the big round windows. The problem, though, is that every time I have been there it has been packed! You have to wait to get a table, even for two. If you have 40-50 people you are definitely going to have trouble securing tables.

I thought you were going to say that the problem is that it's Pizza Hut!

Umm, actually the occasion is kinda meet and greet with my cyber friends from local forum in my country. Do you have any recommended restaurant in Yongsan? We need a huge place to enjoy. Thanks Guava. Cool

Thanks for your suggestion, Hamlet. I thought the same, and our plan is on Sunday lunch time. Oh geez, that is weekend dude, I'm afraid no more tables left. Rolling Eyes

....don't make fun...I saw a wedding reception at Gecko's!

OP, it's a bit more expensive, but On The Border in Sincheon will take large reservations. You could probably get the whole patio area reserved.

...or, Helio's in Itaewon would be good for a big lunch party. I know, it gets all ghetto at night. It's a nice place to have a relaxing drink/snacks in the afternoons, though--and it's not too busy.

...I know of no place in Yongsan that can take a party of 50!

OP, I would pick a Buffet style restaurant.

Its perfect because people can start eating right away, and no one has to worry about what to order, or how to split the checks.

I know there are a few buffets in Seoul that have all you can eat and drink (beer, some wine, etc..). They take reservations also.

Far too expensive for what you get. Pizzas are crazy small for the money.

If memory serves, this tiny cheese-crust pizza cost over 20,000 won.

You should try to reserve tables at California Pizza Kitchen. Almost the same price and WAY better food/selection.

In this part of the world, there is a concept called "make a reservation".
It involves calling the venue in advance and reserving the desired space and time for your party.

With a party of that size it is likely to be someones Bday. At Friday's they play music and bongos and banjos or whatever for the party of a birthday celebrant so you may consider that and its better than pizza which would be the least bang for the buck.

I bet you could find a Fridays or an Outback that would reserve their second floor for you.

By the way where are you from if its not classified information. I'll take the liberty of being presumptuous and guess Vietnam.
