I've read a lot of people say that they wear slippers at work instead of regular shoes. I'm a US women's size 9/10. Is that something I need to buy before I come over, and if so, what should I look for? Or is that something they will have for me in Korea?

I'm a man size 12 and I can find slippers that fit me, so you shouldn't have a problem.
However, regular shoes can be a problem unless you are in a big city like Seoul or Busan so if I were you, I'd bring an extra pair over just in case.
Also as regards the slippers, some Korean schools have the pebbled sole kind...little hard plastic nodules that are on the inside of the shoe and dig into the soles of your feet. Most Koreans seem to like this, I personally find it uncomfortable, so you might want to do what I did, and bring a couple of thick padded insoles over and wear them over the sole of the slipper. I'd bring several pairs (they wear out fast) |

You may want to consider buying an extra pair of shoes that you will only wear indoors. Some of the slippers are not so comfy, and none too warm in the winter.
In summer, I just have sandals for indoors. The slippers the schools have are way too small for me, and I doubt that they'd be comfortable even if they were big enough. But that's just me. |

I couldn't get away with flipflops, could I? 
I plan on bringing over plenty of regular shoes. Might as well get some moccasins or something for indoors too? |

During the summer, I wear nice sandals at school. Not flip flops, but a bit dressier. No slippers. |

| As for me, I just use the public-use slippers in the lobby (most teachers have their own). I usually get there early enough before some visitor snags my favorite blue Mickey Mouse slippers. |

Oh thanks for the picture. I have a good idea of what to get now then.  I'd rather get something here and know I'll be comfortable.
For some reason I was thinking like...Chinese tea slippers. I was like, where the heck am I going to find those? |
