25th hour was great

What did you make of the ending?

You sort of hope and wish it will turn out like the fantasy sequence, but you know it won't and you know he doesn't deserve it to work out for him.

No the ending is what could have happened, what his father wanted to happen. The actuality was that he drove to the exit.

No, you don't know the ending. It's meant to be open-ended. Read some of the interviews with Spike Lee.

Roger Dodger (movie). Just... do yourself a favor and watch this movie. I don't get how it's not more popular. Simply one of the best screenplays I've ever heard.

Ok I took your advice and watched it though it took 2 days to download.

I can get into character driven films like this, and I felt the dialogue of this movie was well written. I was scratching my head though at the end because it seemed like the film maker could not decide how to end it. I confess that puts me at odds with most commenters on IMDB, who seem to think the ending had more resolution then I did.

Anyway, I still enjoyed it. Thanks for the tip.

So far I think I have gotten to see 4 or 5 good movies because of this thread.

"Leverage" is a pretty cool TV show. It feels like a ripoff of "Burn Notice" in many ways, but still has its charms.

AFN Prime airs it too, I think.
