I'm just about to start the above distance learning MA and I'm wondering if anyone has done or is doing it?
If so are you interested in sharing textbook costs? Buy and copy, or read and sell, either/or..
Alternatively, does anyone know a good place to buy textbooks in Seoul, or online? Specifically linguistics textbooks I guess.
Anyone with a negative view of online MAs I'm not interested. Too poor and busy to go to school full time! |

fair enough to you, but I'm doing a full-time on-campus MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics atm, it has far more prestige value that the distant ones, and rightly so in my opinion. got a mate who just finished his distance MA, and what he did was easy peasy compared to what I have to do
it all depends what you want to do afterwards, if u want to stay in Korea the distance MA is probably fine, if you want to go to Japan or the Middle East it's far better and def worthwhile to take the financial hit and go on-campus |
