Does anyone know of any relief organizations here that are actively collecting money for food, medicine and supplies for the Haiti disaster relief-- similar to what the American Red Cross is doing?

Any major churches or non-profit organizations in the bigger cities? If anyone knows of anything about this, PLEASE respond!

PLEASE... it would be easier to make donations here from Korea.

F/t's over here like me making money on Korea's obsession with English really do have an opportunity to do something about this disaster.

I'm sure they are but only to go to koreans like during 9/11. Check out the coverage of the quake in the Korea Times and then send the money to an international charity...

I don't know about organizations in Korea. I ran into a Google Haiti charity, though. UNICEF is on there -- http://www.google.com/relief/haitiearthquake/

Thanks for that.

I've decided to go through American Red Cross and Unicef anyway.
What a disaster!
We really all should consider giving something; we have so much over here as f/t's

Thanks again!

finding the International Red Cross Haiti appeal was just about the easiest thing i've ever done online

I just don't get the OP

look I'm not exactly loved-up on the Korea lovin or anything but what you're basically implying is annoying nonsense...have you even asked any Koreans to help you out with this?

Anyway..I bet a shit load of money that they have lots of places where people can donate - you just don't frequent the places that Koreans do.
My korean's poor but it took about 2 clicks to find what I'm pretty sure is one such example...

thanks drydell for your insulting response.
I am capable of locating charity organizations online. I was looking for another way to get involved in the relief though...

Mission accomplished and your remarks were uncalled for.

Do you?

What have you done?

Good grief the hypocrisy in here is enough to choke on.

To those that provide links to actually help: good on you.

To those that have helped with money or in other ways: good on you as well.
