Has anyone ever been here? Sounds like it has a handful of Mongolian, Uzbek and perhaps other shops and restaurants. It seems like it'd be a interesting place to get a meal and kill a bit of time walking around (I'm sure it's very small).

Any insight? I could really go for some mutton.

Its in Dongdaemun. There is a great little place called Samarkand. It has mutton and stews and things like that, really yummy. They also have Russian Baltika beer.

A shadow of what it was a couple years ago.

Corresponding I believe, with the unfortunate declinine in Russian influence.

There are still 2 or 3 Uzbek cafes and "the Mongolian building" where you can buy Mongol vodka and a decent central asian bakery with the yellow sign.

I was there about a week ago, quite what they are going to build on that massive 2 block wide empty construction site across from Doosan Tower and Migliore I would like to know.
