| Its been quite some time since I've read the book, but I don't think it ever fleshes out the cause of the apocolypse. Its all pretty vague. I also didn't think the character of The Boy was supposed to have any other defining characteristics other than his relationship to The Man. Its the idea that what they are to each other is the only significant thing left on the face of the planet. That's just my 2 cents. Can't wait to see the movie now! |

Great movie! Very depressing but makes you think of what the hell would YOU do in that situation. I'm afriad now to read the book. I need a hand to hold  |

Just seen it, really liked it.
I read the book ages ago so I can't compare, probably a good thing, just enjoy each individually.The book left an impression on me.
It's a love story essentially.Beautiful and depressing all in one. |
