|
|
Hello,
I am moving to Daegu and need an apartment, officetel, or villa for the beginning of March for a minimum 12 month lease. My employer does provide modest single accommodation, but as I am traveling with my unmarried partner, they will not provide shared accommodation. Ideally, I am looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom place, close to a subway station that is furnished or semi-furnished. If anyone has any information regarding rentals or rental agents in that area, or knows of anyone who can help that would be GREATLY appreciated. Kinda having a hard time finding info.
Thank you
Carol

Perhaps telling us what area of this large city you will be working in would be a good place to start.
Help us help you.
Here is an option. Tell your employer to use his key money, and the rental allowance he'd be giving you to use on your shared apartment, to find a shared place for you.
Then, you pay the difference on top of the rental allowance. Of course, this is considering you have the original receipts in hand. |

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, as I am with a public school program, I will not know what neighborhood I will be in until I arrive for orientation so I was just thinking of something more or less in the centre of the city.
I have tried to contact the program directly and they have basically advised against tyring to find a place on our own, which hasn't been all that helpful.
Again, I am just trying to weigh my options here. If anyone knows of an English speaking agent that would be great. |

I do remember a subway stop at Keungogae. Otherwise, DongDaegu Station is close by as is Fatima Hospital. |
