I try to avoid Korean medicines...
sometimes they are not what they are advertised to be...
you could be wasting your money on mostly sugar...
The price of Urusa Complex, Daewoong Pharms best-selling liver medicine, rose 10 percent starting this month.
Exchange rates, oil and packaging costs led to the price hike, said Jin Jung-kyu of Daewoon Pharm.
Among the diverse Urusa Complex packages, we only raised the price of Urusa Complex that comes with 100 capsules, he said.
The liver benefits from Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, Magnesium, L-Carnitine and Coffee.
Vitamin A is an important immune system stimulant. DR. Nauss reported a reduced T-cell immune response in patients with a Vitamin A deficiency. Vitamin A deficiency may increase the risk of cancers of the lung, larynx, bladder, esophagus, stomach, colon, rectum and prostate. Vitamin A is stored in the liver and fat cells of the human body and can reach toxic levels. DO NOT take more than the recommended dosage of Vitamin A.
Vitamin B taken together as a team perform vital biological processes including aiding in the healing process for congestive heart failure and reduces fluid retention. It is required for the development of red blood cells.
Vitamin C is essential for defending the body against pollution and infection. It enhances the immune system. It aids in growth and repair of both bone and tissue by helping the body produce collagen.
Vitamin E supplies Oxygen to the heart and the other muscles in the body. Accelerates wound healing and aids in the functioning of the immune system.
Zinc is needed for healing and maintaining healthy tissues. Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein and are the vital components of skin, hair, muscle tissue, the body's organs, blood cells, various enzymes and hormones. Zinc also has a profound influence on the body's ability to resist disease.
Magnesium is needed to keep the proper pH level in the blood and helps in the metabolism of calcium and vitamin C.
L-Carnitine helps convert nutrients into energy.
Studies have recently suggested that coffee consumption may protect against cirrhosis, especially alcoholic cirrhosis.
I take all the above vitamins, etc simply buy Centrum A~Zince (30,000won) will last you 3 months
then as additional benefit - (if yo are worried about your liver) take any of these -
Milk thistle, vitamin C, selenium, beta carotene, vitamin E, and N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) are all powerful antioxidants which are helpful in liver detoxification.
or just eat lots of fruit and carrots |

I've been taking Urusa for 3 days and it's been helping met to increase my energy levels. I've been sleeping much better as well. I hear that it cleanses and optimizes people's livers. It seems promising.
Thanks for the above advice. |

bought some recently. reading the contents label it says;
urusodesoxylinsan (which, after doing some googling, might be a kind of extract of cow liver or gall bladder or something of the sort)
chilsanjiamin ?
riboflavin
this is interesting reading:
| Quote: |
| At trial the defendants presented evidence to the effect that the plaintiff had engaged in deception of the public through the marketing of its URUSO products. First, the defendants assert that the plaintiffs advertising of their URUSO products contains the false claim that the latter contains an extract of bear liver. It was undisputed that it is a tenet of Korean folk medicine that bear liver is a source of vigor. The evidence at trial established that plaintiffs ads either stated, or at the least suggested, that its product contained bear parts, when, as the plaintiff did not dispute, the product contains no bear parts, but only ordinary vitamins and minerals and an extract of cow liver or gall bladder. The defendants also complain that the plaintiffs advertising falsely implies that URUSO products possess actual curative powers. |
