Hello
I initially got accepted for EPIK, so sent my recuiter all my docs.
But, due to problems with my reference letters i was told EPIK wanted more. My recuiter suggested that given the timing of this and the time it would take to send them to Korea, he suggested i should apply for private jobs.
I agreed with him and left him to look for private school jobs for me.
Over the past 3 weeks, despite sending 3 emails asking how things were progressing, i have received nothing from him.
I have read about the laid back nature (in regards of contact) of recruiters in Korea, but should i be worried?
Thanks. |

Yes, it's common.
Many of them (not all) can be very unprofessional....no speedy reply, not answering questions, etc. |

If I sense a lack of communication with a recruiter (like OP), I'll dump the recruiter and move on. Not worth my time.
Though doing this after you sent in all of your documents is totally uncool imo |
