That is an entirely different scenario, and you know it. I support freedom: freedom to be naked if I want to be and freedom from being coerced to being seen naked if I don't. |

Great: all crowning achievements. Phone your congressman and senator. You feel "free" to strip down naked in front of the in-laws. Or on a Saudi street corner. Good luck with that.
I'll reserve my "freedom" to be able to not look at your fat, hairy senior citizen butt. |

This is exactly one of the reasons that more people should see others naked. Not everyone is a Hollywood star; in fact, the vast majority of us are not. Being naked with others is a corrective for a lot of unrealistic ideas people have about body image, as well as being the great equalizer. Without the clothes to distinguish, say, two people of different classes, they are just a couple of regular guys. |
So we should see more nude unattractive people to change our ideas of what's attractive? I guess that kind of makes sense. But honestly I think if you see naked people all the time it takes the eroticism and intimacy out of sex. It's just not very exciting anymore to get naked with each other. |

I will absolutely agree that Saudis and other Muslims really need to revise their attitudes on nudity. I am surprised you share such views with them.

But that's just it: naked =\= sex. In fact, people often feel someone wearing some small article of clothing, e.g. G-string, high heels, leather, etc., is sexier than complete nudity. |
