Where is a good place to buy comic books in Seoul? I am generally talking about DC and Marvel and the like.

What the book had a small but nonetheless good selection. Anywhere else worth going to?

That's the main place I've seen. That, or subscriptions, or online.

You want to own them, or just read them?

Preferably own them CC.

I was wondering whether Bandi & Lundi or Kyobo would have any titles. I am not talking about the monthlies or fornightlies either: graphic novels and combined stories are fine.

Pretty much your only options are Whatthehell or that cramped bookstore close to Noksapyeong station. Or online subscriptions. If you do see a comic book with a Korean based metrosexual lookin character with a Pepsi logo on its chest, well, just walk away.

I like the "The Big Book of Bad, The Big Book of Losers, The Big Book of Conspiracy Theories" comic books. I wonder where I can find those at.

They have a number of graphic novels at the big Kyobo Books, downtown Jongno. I didn't look too closely but they seem to have more newspaper strip compilations than anything else, though they do have some superhero stuff and some Alan Moore compilations--maybe some other smaller press items as well. Basically if it's Marvel, DC, or if its had a movie made of it, they might have it. I think I saw 'Wanted' there. Also, I think they'll order things for you. For that matter, so will whatthebook, as I recall. Maybe save a bit on shipping that way?
Kyobo has some English translations of Japanese manga too.

You can either have them delivered to Korea, or with Marvel (and I think DC) you can view them online (as well as back issues).

So when you say 'won', you want the hard copy, or is digital ok?

I just browsed the DC website - thanks for that! Looks great but do you have to subscribe or something first. Just i couldnt see a 'basket' for you to put stuff into or a button that takes you to the checkout or anything.

Went to Yeong Pun bookstore at the express bus terminal. They had a small selection but I managed to get the title I was looking for: Batman: Hush 2. Defintely smaller than the selection at the What the Book. Will check out Bandi & Lundi next when time permits.

CC Ill reply to your pm soon. Thanks for the heads up.

Was wondering if there was a dedicated shop to comic book and cult related stuff but obviously not.
