Seeing as Newfoundland is piss poor and its youth forced to come to Korea to seek gainful employment, I would think that they would welcome any and all possible tourist dollars. If nothing else they would earn money to keep them in drink.

True. I wonder if you got that maybe I was joking?

Responding to the other guy, not so much you.

You gotta be kidding, theres a Newfie post here? hahaha
I was born in St. John's , Newfoundland to U.S. Born parents that were stationed at Pepperrel AFB. I only lived there as a tot for a year or 2 before leaving with my parents and bacause a US citizen at 13 yerars of age. From all the cool Newfies I met, I'd have to say "I'm a Newfie at heart". Now I'm working at Osan Air Base.. Been in Korea on and off for 10 years and love it here!

I'm REALLY looking forward to the first Korean child who sees me on the street and asks "Where ya to?"

I was born at Pepperell AFB (Don't know if it's still there) in St. John's. I'm an American but don't hold that against me.
