I have one month left here, roughly 60% of which will be spent on vacation. I can't afford to take a trip outside of 우리땅. What would you do with such a situation? |

no money for vacation?? You have to be joking. I have only been here only a short time and have over 15,000 dollars in the Pusan bank AFTER my trip to Thailand. You must be joking. |

Mentally prepare yourself for leaving Korea by getting wasted every day and sleeping on the street, barf, puke, and spit on the ground, throw trash in a big pile in an alley, fart in a crowded bus, and do all the other things that are considered faux pas back home. |

真的阿 3月回国然后9月去中国。 可能咱们很快一起玩吧?
Seriously, let's not make this about Old Gil. What are some things you would suggest for those about to leave here? There's always stuff to do, consider this a 'jog the memory' thing. |

From now on, every time I think badly of myself, and this is quite often, I'm going to remember that it could be worse. I could be jananfromfrance.

If I were leaving and never coming back I would want to go to Yangdong Folk Village one more time. Geomundo as well.

You arrived in Korea on Nov. 15, 2009, worked two months, had time for a vacation in Thailand, and still saved $15,000?
Time to get your stories straight dude. |

If you can save 5,000,000 won a month, you are not on an average teaching gig.
If you are on an average job, you'd have saved about 1,500 dollars. That's believable.
If you are not on an average job, you've been saying some outlandish things. |

-You could ride the Eungam Loop, that is an experience you will never forget.
-Chinatown in Incheon and while you are there you could go to the Incheon museum.
-You could ask a Kuy to teach you how to use chopsticks well.
-Find a wife, I heard Korean woman make good wife relation.
-Try to find the elusive Burberry man and see what makes him tick over a plate of wellbeing fried chicken.
-Count the levels in the 63 building and ask a Kuy why they call it the 63 building when there are not 63 levels.
This is Korea, the possibilities are endless Old Gill. |
