On first glance, it could be the ultimate Valentine's Day card -- a gigantic billboard that towers over New York's Times Square, featuring a happy couple with the text: "You are my soulmate forever, Charles & YaVaughnie."
But as every scorned lover knows, looks can be deceiving. This billboard -- which also has gone up in Atlanta and San Francisco -- is the ultimate act of revenge -- a very public retaliation by a dumped mistress aimed at a very wealthy, and married, businessman who is an adviser to President Obama... |

Hope she considers the quarter of a million dollars well spent. If nothing else, she's done her small part in these troubling times to economically stimulate the billboard industry. |

He's an executive of Oracle. He doesn't work for the White House in any way. The headline to this thread is misleading. Shocking that Fox News would connect him to Obama. |

Shocking that they would merely reprint an article put up on the news feed by the New York Post?
Why don't you do some more research yourself? Besides, did the Fox article ever say that he "worked for the whitehouse?"
No.
It's just you, an angry liberal, being mad at Fox News for not following the liberal media line.
From the NYP article:
Quote: |
A fuming mistress catapulted retribution into a new orbit by plastering the country with billboards that show her nuzzling a married New York business honcho and adviser to President Obama, sources said.
The spurned squeeze, YaVaughnie Wilkins, went nuclear after she learned that Charles E. Phillips -- president of tech conglomerate Oracle and a member of Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board -- reconciled with his wife despite his lengthy affair with Wilkins. |

While the billboard angle is a nice touch, it still doesn't measure up to 2009's sex scandals...hiking the Appalachian Trail, getting your mom & pop to fork over $95,000 to your spurned lover's family or having your hooker dress you up in diapers. No, I'd say a relatively weak start for the decade's sex scandals. |

1. I read the article on sfgate.com, and it made no mention of the Obama connection.
2. No, the headline implied it. Obama adviser. Doss that not sound like he works for the white house??
3. NY Post and Fox News are the same company (News Corp.).The NY Post is also notorious for being slanted to the right-wing. |
